Sfera Ebbasta

Gionata Boschetti, better known by his stage name Sfera Ebbasta, is an Italian rapper. Describing himself as “the king of trap”, Sfera Ebbasta rose to fame following the release of the album XDVR, recorded in collaboration with record producer Charlie Charles, which became a commercial success in Italy. This success was replicated with the releases of Sfera Ebbasta (2016) and Rockstar (2018).

Deorro

A native of Los Angeles, Deorro has become one of the most sought-after artists around. With collaborations featuring some of today’s most popular DJs, he is building up an impressive discography. His turntable skills are so impressive that he has been invited to perform at the world’s top music events. That’s why we love having him here at Tropics.

Steve Aoki

American electro house DJ and producer. He is also the founder of Dim Mak Records. In January 2012, he released his debut album, titled Wonderland, featuring collaborations with Will.i.am, LMFAO, Kid Cudi, among others. From that point on, his rise to fame was so huge that he became one of the best DJs in the world. Aoki also has a line of music headphones, an artist booking agency, a magazine… a real machine!

Kollegah

Kollegah began his rap career online. He took part in a platform called ReimligaBarrle Arena (RBA) and won eleven out of the fourteen times he competed. After graduating, he decided to dedicate his life to rap, and in 2013 he received a Gold Award for his collaboration on the album *Jung, Brutal, Gutassenhend 2* with Farid Band. In December 2014, with Zuhältertape Vol. 4, he reached number 1 in the charts in its first week.

Joachin Garraud

After studying piano at the Classical Music Conservatory of Nantes, Garraud turned his musical career towards electronic music at a young age. He has worked as a songwriter, producer and co-producer with many of the world’s legendary artists, including Kylie Minogue, Beyoncé and Deep Dish, and is particularly known for his projects with David Guetta and Bob Sinclair. He can be found at Tomorrowland, Coachella, Love Parade… and Tropics!

Martin Solveig

Martin Solveig hails from France. He is a DJ, singer and electronic music producer. He got his start in small clubs across France, where he would showcase his own tracks. But he really made a name for himself at Queen Club, both as a DJ and as artistic director. Tracks such as “Edony” and “Heart of Africa” catapulted him to fame, and he later released his album. We’ve had the pleasure of seeing him perform live at Tropics and we can only say one thing: Spectacular!

Aya Nakamura

Aya Nakamura is a French-Malian singer who blends pop with urban music and Afrobeat; she is best known for her global hit ‘Djadja’, released in 2018, which currently tops many charts.

Vinai

It’s not one, but two: Alessando & Andrea Vinai, born in 1990 and 1994. After working individually, they decided to join forces in 2011 and formed this duo. They have supported artists such as Tiesto, Quintino, Deorro and Showteck, amongst others… Following various successes, Vinai, together with DVBBS, have released the track ‘Raveology’ via Billboard, the world’s leading music platform.

Felix Jaehn

Since his remix of OMI’s “Cheerleader” reached number one on iTunes in 55 countries, the 21-year-old German DJ and producer has gained international recognition for his commercially appealing and forward-thinking sound. Furthermore, his massive hit single “Ain’t Nobody”, featuring Jasmine Thompson, became one of the biggest hits of 2015.

Ghali

Ghali Amdouni, known as Ghali, is a Tunisian-Italian rapper. Born in Milan to Tunisian parents, he has lived in Baggio, a suburb of the city. He began performing under the name Fobia, before changing it to Ghali Foh. In 2011, he joined Troupe D’Elite, which also included rapper Er Nyah (later known as Ernia), singer Maite and producer Fonzie (later known as Fawzi). That same year, he received an invitation from rapper Gué Pequeno to sign with the record label Tanta Roba and went on tour with Fedez.

Gigi d’Agostino

Gigi d’Agostino is an Italian DJ and record producer. He is one of the artists who represents the evolution of Italo Dance on the global stage. His spirit, the intense, driving rhythm he brings to his tracks, and one of his most powerful hits, ‘L’amour Toujours’, have marked a turning point in this musical genre.

Farruko

Carlos Efrén Reyes Rosado, better known by his stage name Farruko, is a Puerto Rican Reggaeton and Latin Trap singer, although he is equally at home across most urban music sub-genres (rap, hip-hop, R&B, etc.). His major hits and collaborations, such as “Besas Tan Bien”, “Feel the Rhythm” and “Calma”, have made him a key figure in the music world.

DJ Antoine

DJ Antoine is one of the DJs who performs most regularly at our venue. As well as being a DJ, he is also a producer, born in Switzerland. Over the years, he has explored various musical styles: hip hop, disco and garage, before discovering house music, which has since become a global phenomenon. He’s waiting for you at Tropics!

French Montana

Karim Kharbouch, better known as French Montana, is an American rapper. He is the founder and CEO of Cocaine City Records. In 2012, he signed a recording contract with Maybach Music Group and Bad Boy Records. Montana is known for his frequent collaborations with Max B, and more recently with Rick Ross alongside his group the Coke Boys. He has also collaborated with renowned artists such as Drake, will.i.am, Jeremih, Future, Lil Wayne, Fat Joe, J Balvin… amongst others

Marwa Loud

Marwa Loud, whose real name is Marwa Outamghart, was born on 12 December 1996 in Strasbourg; she is a French urban pop and R&B singer. She is particularly well known for her tracks *Mi Corazón*, *Billet* and *Fallait no*. She grew up in Strasbourg and now lives in Paris.

Paris Hilton

The blonde celebrity is set to make her debut on the Costa Brava as a DJ at Girona’s hottest nightclub, Disco TROPICS. Building anticipation and turning heads as only she knows how, she’ll treat everyone to a unique night out, with a set in true Hilton style that’ll bathe the venue in pink.

Quintino

Quintino is renowned as a top Dutch DJ and producer and has become one of the leading figures in today’s music scene. Working with Tiesto and Afrojack has helped him achieve global fame. Quintino excels at what he does and has become one of the leading musicians. That’s why he’s always a welcome guest!

Inna

A young Romanian artist and one of the freshest voices on the dance music scene, she has collaborated with Florida, Pitbull, Daddy Yankee and Juan Magan, and has performed all over the world: in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Songs such as “Hot”, “Déjà Vu” and “Sun is Up” are her biggest hits of recent times. At Tropocs, we had the honour of seeing and hearing her perform live.

Alan Walker

He was born on 24 August 1997 in Northampton (England). In 2015, he released his first song with Sony Music Sweden: ‘Faded’, a massive hit! On 2 June 2016, he released ‘Sing Me to Sleep’, and on 1 December 2016, he released his new single ‘Alone’. In 2017, his new single ‘Tired’ was released, featuring Irish singer Gavin James.

Lil Pump

Gazzy García is an American singer of Colombian descent who performs rap and trap music. García is best known for the song ‘Gucci Gang’, which he performs; the song reached number 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

Cristian Marchi

Born in Italy, Cristian Marchi made his debut at the age of fourteen. He was one of the pioneers in using social media, which is why his YouTube videos proved so successful. Thanks to the success of his productions, in recent years he has performed in Italy, France, Spain, Croatia and Greece, amongst other places. One of these stops was here: Disco Tropics.

MHD

Mohamed Sylla (born 28 November 1994), better known by his stage name MHD, is a French rapper from the 19th arrondissement of Paris. His music pioneered the ‘Afro trap’ style, a fusion of African music and trap music. He is also part of the 19 Réseaux collective alongside others

Willy William

Willy William is a French singer and DJ of Mauritian descent. He was a member of the group Collectif Métissé before embarking on a solo career, which began in 2013 with a remix of Alain Ramanisum’s hit “Li Tourner” by DJ Assad. In November 2015, Willy William released “Ego”, which became one of the best-selling singles in France, Belgium and Italy. In 2017, Willy William formed a duo with the Colombian singer J Balvin and released “Mi Gente”. On 29 September 2017, the remix of “Mi Gente” featuring Beyoncé was released.

Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg has been nominated for eight Grammy Awards, including one in the Best Rap Song category for ‘Jin and Juice’ in 1995. He is one of the country’s most prominent hip-hop artists. As well as being a successful rapper, he is also an actor and producer working in genres such as G-funk, reggae and West Coast rap.

Dadju

Dadju Djuna Tsungula, better known as Prince Dadju, is a French singer of Congolese origin. He signed with the Wati B label and, in 2017, signed with Polydor Records, part of Universal Music Group. He was a member of the musical group Shin Sekaï alongside rapper Abou Tall from 2012 to 2016. The duo were part of the Wati B label and released the album Indéfini. The duo announced that they were splitting up so that each could pursue a solo career. Dadju released his solo album Gentleman 2.0 in 2017.

Sean Paul

Sean Paul hails from Jamaica. Among his hits are: ‘Fot 2 Luv U’, ‘DreamGirls’, ‘Temperatura’… He has made a name for himself with his stage presence. In the summer of 2014, we had the honour of hosting his performance at Tropics. It is said that when he is not on stage or in the studio, Sean Paul catches up with his old water polo team or takes on the role of head chef, as cooking is one of his great passions.

Afrojack

It took Nick Van de Wall, better known as Afrojack, just two years to become one of the most respected icons in dance music. This DJ has gone on to become a prolific producer and has earned two platinum discs. With his impressive skills and explosive dance music style, his two Grammy Awards speak for themselves.

Armin Van Buuren

Natal de Holanda was named the world’s number one DJ by DJ Magazine in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012, making him the only person to have won this award five times and to have been in the top three for 11 consecutive years. Van Buren already had music in his blood, as his father listened to all sorts of records; moreover, he took an interest in technology and computing right from the start. So it was a perfect match!
